Charlie Mayer This is just a fantastic album in every way possible. It has a very unique style of the highest lo-fi (that still falls in the lo-fi genre), shoegazey goodness, with pop sensibilities and catchy hooks. I get the feeling this band can play any type of music they choose, and do it very well. Check out "glowfriends", another project they do, and you will see what I am talking about. Buy all of their albums! Favorite track: Help Us Remember.

I have several problems with a member of this band, so I'm disinclined to like this album. However, exceptional music speaks for itself, and this album really is exceptional, from the guitar work to the vocals to the production. As painful as it is for me to write these words, this is among the best releases of the year and firmly belongs in the collection of anyone who cares about contemporary indiepop. Michael Feck
